The Half Ribbed / Half Flat hotplate is targeted at outlets where grilling and tawa cooking are both core parts of the menu, but:
- Space is limited
- Budget doesn’t stretch to separate units for grill and tawa
- The operator wants to upgrade beyond a plain flat plate
This model divides the cooking surface side-by-side:
- One half: Ribbed, full depth
- Other half: Flat, full depth
With:
- Single temperature control(one plate, one thermostat)
- Common front gutter + removable drain tray for both halves
This allows you to:
- Run grill-style items on one side (for visible grill marks & better drainage)
- Run tawa/flat items on the other side — simultaneously, if needed
It’s particularly useful for:
